The Hong Kong Maritime Museum occupies a world class site on the edge of Victoria Harbour.
The addition of 4000 m2 of public exhibition space will allow the Museum to double current annual visitation to 350,000, making best use of this community space.

Creating new opportunities
The Star Ferry precinct has been transformed into a major high volume tourist area and an expanded museum will create new opportunities for a wide range of educational opportunities including the berthing of historic vessels, a family style restaurant, theatrette and a harbour discovery centre.
